I can't think of a better way to kick off my favorite season (autumn) than with a beautiful couple and a beautiful wedding day! Chelsey and Devin have had quite a year together! Their first date was October 1, 2015. Devin proposed on January 15, 2016. Finally they became husband and wife on October 1, 2016; thats right, exactly 1 year after their first date! When you know you know! :) Devin and Chelsey were so excited for this day and I was excited to celebrate their special day with them. To hear more of their love story check out their engagement session from April.
While I loved all of the little details that Chelsey worked so hard to create, (from the black and white striped accents to the beautiful fall florals), my favorite things about the day were the moments I got to witness. We started the day at the beautiful Atwood House in Chillicothe and this charming bed and breakfast was the perfect place for Devin and Chelsey to share their first look in a sweet and private way. Chelsey could barely contain her excitement to see her handsome groom all morning and their first look was exciting to witness. Devin read a sweet letter from his beautiful bride right before she came to him and he took in every word with pure joy. When they finally saw each other they were both radiating with excitement and happiness, as it should be! The way these two looked at each other all day long was so sweet and you could see how much in love they really are. If that moment alone weren't sweet enough, the best man and maid of honor speeches were both very touching. Devin's father served as his best man and got choked up expressing his love and happiness for his son and new daughter-in-law. Chelsey's older sister gave a sweet and moving speech on her love for her sister and how happy she is to have found a man like Devin. So much love in this family! I loved it! Don't worry it wasn't all mushy, this group knew how to have a great time as they danced the night away!
Thank you Devin and Chelsey for asking me to be a part of your wedding day! Wishing you many years of health and happiness!
