I can't believe it's finally time to share the destination wedding on the blog this morning! I have been so excited to share this trip to Montana and the beautiful snowy mountains wedding with everyone including the bride and groom. The reason it had to be kept under wraps for a while was because the wedding was somewhat of an elopement. Bailey's family and I have several mutual friends in common on social media so they asked me not to share anything until they could send out their Christmas card with the announcement of the marriage and an invitation celebrate with them later this summer when traveling is easier.
Bailey & Ryan knew they were ready to be married and knew they wanted an intimate ceremony with just immediate family and ended up bringing one or two close friends along with them. It was a beautiful day and exactly what they wanted. One of my favorite moments of the day what's when Bailey sang the song she wrote for Ryan during their reception time at the house they rented. Ryan's face was lit with pure joy and love for his new bride. Of course another fun moment was when Bailey went all in smashing the gluten free chocolate and coffee cake into Ryan's face! And how did Ryan react to that? He pulled her in for a kiss. That's how these two are and I loved it!
I met Bailey when she was about 16 years old so to have the opportunity to see her marry such a wonderful man who loves her was truly an honor for me. I am so proud of the woman she's become and I can't wait to see what life holds for them!
Congratulations Ryan & Bailey Johnson
