It is such a joy for me to share Mr. and Mrs. Harris’ wedding day on the blog today. I have been looking forward to their wedding for quite some time. It was extra special for me because I actually experienced their entire relationship. I met Marissa over 3 years ago when I started my job at Ohio Christian University. She and I both worked in the Admissions department and clicked right off the bat. I remember when she and Bill went on their first date and now to have the chance to celebrate their wedding day with them...it was so exciting!
Marissa and Bill share a love that is so tangible. Anyone who sees them together can see that they are truly in love. I have watched Bill take care of Marissa practically from their first date and it always made my heart happy to see her so happy. It has also been nice to see Bill just beam with happiness when he looks at Marissa. These two were all smiles during their wedding day. There were definitely a few tears of joy shed as well; and not just by the bride and groom.
Bill and Marissa had a GORGEOUS day for their outdoor wedding at Everal Barn in Heritage Park. It was during the peak of the autumn season where the air is crisp and the colors are vibrant. They carried a romantic fall theme seamlessly through their decor. One of my favorite touches they had could be seen on their reception tables. During the first year of their relationship they would meet at Easton Shopping Center (half way between their homes which were two hours apart) and they would go to the movies. They saw countless movies that first year. They made a list of their favorites and used mini posters as their table numbers. Such a fun personal touch!
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Harris!
