This weekend was a blur; a wonderful exciting blur! Friday evening I met with Adrian & Cory to discuss their fall wedding. What I expected to be a 1 hour meeting turned out to be a 3 hours hang out at Panera. The 3 of us share so much in common and I loved learning more about them as a couple that time just flew by. We were shocked when we were the last ones in the place and had no choice but to go home. I think it is easy to say we will have a blast working together.
Saturday my parents came up to spend the day with me and we had a double feature movie day. My mom and I went to see the Imax showing of Beauty & the Beast at 1:00 while my dad went to see, as I used to say, "a dad movie"; meaning an action film. My mom and I were beside ourselves with excitement to see this story come to life. Side note: if you haven't seen the film yet go see it ASAP because it is truly phenomenal. I cried 3 times and I was an absolute mess at the end, but in a happy way. ;) After our movies we had some time to kill so we went to Starbucks for a coffee...then over to Chipotle for some chips and guac. After a while it was time to head back to the theater for our second movie of the day...Beauty & the Beast. That's right we saw it twice. IT'S THAT GOOD! Plus I have been waiting a long time for this film and just HAD to see it again. After the 2nd viewing we had dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse, yum! When we gave them the name "Bell" the hostess looked at me and said, "OH, how pretty! Is that really your last name?" When we confirmed it was she thought it was ironic. This made me realize that with the release of this film, my last name will probably stick out to people for the next few weeks.
Sunday was just as exciting because it involved an engagement session with a good friend. I met Marissa thru work and we clicked pretty quickly over our similar love of music, movies, and books. I have been around for the entire timeline of her relationship with Bill and I am so excited to be a part of this new chapter in their life. We expected the weather to be little nicer this weekend but we didn't let it get us down. These two were real troopers in the cold weather and no coats...or even a few layers to wear. When you are having fun with the one you love the cold doesn't seem so bad. I am so excited to share more of their session on the blog as soon as possible.
