Well friends, I finally had my first official senior session! This has been an area I wanted to get involved with for so long & I could not imagine a better girl to work with first than Roxxi. She has such a bubbly personality as well as multiple passions that we got to incorporate into her photos. Roxxi is a senior at Logan Elm and plans to pursue a degree in Speech Pathology once she graduates; university to be determined! I have no doubt that no matter which of the two universities she decides on will prepare her to pursue her passion for helping those with issues in the area of verbal communication/speech.
We met in German Village and started out with Roxxi completing a painting in the park (very Parisian) & playing around with her paints. It was so fun to watch her carefully complete this special piece to celebrate her senior year. As we made our way through town we would stop & take advantage of the many unique features German Village possess. The brick streets, ivy covered walls, beautiful gates and doors...seriously it is a dream town. Roxxi's session was completed at a mutual favorite spot; The Book Loft. This is the BEST book store ever. It has every genre, room after room filled with books, & even a beautiful garden area outside. It is a book lover's dream. No wonder Roxxi wanted to take some photos here. She is a true book worm. We explored the store for some of her favorites to pile up high & display her love of the written word. Some of her favorites include the Narnia Series, Harry Potter, & Little House on the Prairie. Capturing her enjoying some of her favorite books was a joy for me & I found myself wishing that I had thought of that idea 10 years ago when I had my senior photos done.
Roxxi, you are such a beautiful girl inside and out. Your heart for Jesus and serving others is so incredible & inspiring. Keep your eyes on Him and I KNOW He will give you the desires of your heart. Enjoy every second of your senior year; it really does fly by.
