When I pulled up to the Hoyt Family Farm in Chillicothe I was mesmerized. I saw the farm earlier this year when I met with Madisen (Madi) and Cade for their engagement photos (click here to see their snowy engagement session on the farm) but seeing it on the wedding day was an entirely different experience! It felt like pulling up to the set of a Hallmark movie ready to film the wedding scene. The weather was perfect and the scene was idyllic. I was in photographer Heaven!
Madi and Cade are high school sweethearts who have waited years for this day. Surrounded by their closest friends and family members they exchanged their intimate wedding vows. It was so beautiful to see how excited and happy everyone was for them to finally become man and wife. The bridesmaids all teared up multiple times and the groomsmen were all laughs and smiles through out the day. It was plain to see this tight knit group truly loves and supports one another and they were thrilled to celebrate this happy day all together.
There were so many unique details that were included into the Harper wedding. Their unique venue, the athletic button of Madi that Cade wore on his dress shirt (just like he did during their proms and homecomings), the fact that both the bride and groom carried something old, new, borrowed, and blue, the fact that Madi had her father & step father both escort her down the isle, and the confetti cannon the best man surprised everyone with when Madi & Cade were announced as Mr. & Mrs. Harper for the first time. One of my favorite moments was the bet placed between the new Mr. & Mrs. Harper. Instead of a dollar dance during the reception the couple decided to place a bet based off of who could earn more money in a dollar dash. The bet was that the loser had to jump into the pool at the end of the night. You'll see in the photos who lost the bet. You'll also see who else couldn't resist jumping in the pool in their full wedding day attire!!! Thank goodness I was able to sneak the newlyweds away for some evening photos BEFORE anyone jumped in the pool.
I absolutely loved everything about Madi & Cade's wedding day and was honored that they chose me to capture all the details for them.
