Welcome to my home!
Having my loved ones in my apartment always fills me up with joy. I enjoy having my family and friends over as often as possible. In fact, every Sunday night I have a few of my girlfriends come over to hang out, have dinner, and watch Downton Abbey; there are only 6 episodes left…ever! :(
Sharing what I have with others is important to me and that includes my apartment. So I decided to do a mini series on the blog about my apartment. The best place to start is the living room; since it is the first room you enter in my home. Yes my Christmas tree is still up, but sadly I will be taking it down this weekend so I wanted to get it in the blog this week!
I have always enjoyed decorating a space to make it my own so I was really excited to decorate my first apartment. In every room there are unique little touches that reveals something new about me to my guests. The reason this apartment stood out to me when first saw it was the fact that it had features that reminded me of a cottage. Little bookshelves built into the wall, soft paint colors, and it wasn’t too big or small. I have been here for about two years and enjoyed every moment of it.
This is where I spend most of my time editing, preparing for sessions, and contacting my clients. I settle in with my cup of coffee, put on a favorite TV show, and dive into my to-do list. I just love this room! It has a happy vibe to it and I am happy to share it with you.
