During these cold winter days I thought it would be nice to look through some summer photos full of love & laughter. This week my blog is a Throwback Thursday style focused on one of my favorite couples.
Meet Alli and Danny, the future Mr. & Mrs. Nathan. Alli & I met at Cedarville University during the fall of 2011; senior year for me & freshman year for her. We became friends instantly. She is definitely a life long friend. I met Danny through my friendship with Alli & he has become a dear friend as well.
Alli & Danny are high school sweethearts; how sweet is that?! Fun fact about this couple: in their high school production of Beauty & the Beast, Alli played Belle and Danny played...Gaston! So Gaston got Belle in the end.
The love between these two is so special. When you spend time with them you are in the presence of true love! It is a beautiful thing.
I have loved hearing more about their love story over the years & I have been lucky enough to watch some of the best chapters unfold. Alli & Danny will be getting married on June 26th 2016 and I am so excited to be one of Alli’s bridesmaids! To stand up with my friends while they declare their love for one another & commit to serve the Lord together is a true honor. I CANNOT wait!
Last summer I met up with Alli & Danny in German Village to explore the town & take some engagement photos. We explored one of my favorite places, The Book Loft; A.K.A. a book lovers dream! During our walk through the park we met a woman walking her bulldog & she was nice enough to let us stop to pet him. Danny LOVES bulldogs so he was really excited. Finally we stopped by Jeni’s Ice Cream for a sweet end to the evening. We had a great time that night & I have enjoyed looking through these photos again remembering a great evening with great friends.
