Happy Monday everybody! This weekend was amazing and jam packed for me. It began with a wedding and was followed by 4 family sessions! I left each session with a smile and a full heart; I hear that's what happens when you do something you love. I absolutely love what I do!
Friday kicked things off when my cousin Emily, or Meep as she is lovingly referred to by yours truly, married the love of her life, Grant. The day was so beautiful and overflowing with love and joy. Grant and Emily were both beyond excited to see each other all day long and you could feel the excitement in the air as she came down the isle. They were so happy all night; it was beautiful to see. I am so happy for Grant and Emily and was blessed to be a part of their day.
The next morning I met with the Blanton family for their session around our town of Circleville. This family is full of fun and laughter. They were real troopers dealing with no jackets in 40 degree weather. Even though they lost feeling in their toes and fingers they never lost their smiles. In the later afternoon I met with Silvia and her son, Alex. Silvia likes to have some photos of Alex every year so she and her husband, Matt, can see how much Alex has grown. Alex claims he has not grown in the last year. "I look exactly the same, mom!" So funny!
Sunday, after church and lunch with my friends, I met up with Brittany and Josh; one of my couples for 2017. I had so much fun with them during their engagement session this summer, so I was thrilled to hear that Brittany wanted to have more photos with their son, Laydin, for the holiday season. Then I was even more thrilled to hear that her parents and sisters wanted to join in on the fun and have family photos as well. It was so nice to actually meet the family before the couple's wedding. We had a great time taking pictures at Hargus Lake with their whole family. Little Laydin was a natural! I cannot wait to see him (and the whole family) all dressed up for his mommy and daddy's wedding this summer! It's going to be a wonderful day.
Take a look at some highlights from the weekend and stay tuned to see more from these weekend sessions on the blog soon.
