This month I was blessed to be a part of Night to Shine; an event produced by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Night to Shine is a night where over 200 proms are held all over America along with several locations over seas. The prom is held for those with special needs ages 16 and up. It is a night where every attendee is treated like a true celebrity. With limo rides, a red carpet entrance lined with paparazzi, delicious food, and a beautiful room to dance the night away in. Everyone looked so gorgeous and had a wonderful time.
My favorite part of the night was to see that all of the attendees were genuinely happy to be at the prom. There was a smile on everyone’s face. There were some romantic moments captured as well! <3
What was the most beautiful part of the evening? Everyone was crowned King and Queen of the prom. We watched a video message from Tim Tebow sharing his heart with everyone. He explained that everyone was crowned King and Queen because that is how God sees them: as royalty! What a beautiful reminder of God’s love for us.
I am already beyond excited to be a part of next year’s event!
