Welcome to part II of the Bialy Property Fixer Upper series.
Jon Bialy and Ike Wampler have been hard at work to bring this historic building back to life. Most of the focus so far has been on what will be the living room of this future three-bedroom apartment.
The living room used to have an archway (you can see this in part I). The arch has been torn down and opened up into one large room.
Remember those bland white plaster walls? Those are gone! Hiding behind all of that boring plaster were these beautiful brick walls. Personally, I do not understand why anyone would cover that up.
The floors are in the process of coming back to life and they are going to be beautiful! Walking through the hall way and looking in the individual rooms I found my self mentally decorating the end result…and I won’t be the one living there! This renovation project is off to an amazing start and I cannot wait to see what part III of this series will reveal.
