It is an exciting time in the photography community because wedding season is getting ready to take off. I have always loved wedding season and now I love it even more! This season has brought me memories of one of the best days I have ever had; and that was when I attended the very first KariMe Photography Workshop last November. So I'm reminesing with this special Throwback Thursday blog dedicated to this beautiful stylized shoot.
Kari and Trevor Bowman are a great husband and wife team behind KariMe Photography. These two put together a fantastic day of mentoring fellow photographers in different areas of photography. They covered topics like, Starting a Photography Business, Editing Tips, Customer Service, Posing Techniques, Understanding Your Camera, etc. It was amazing how many topics they were able to cover.
After spending the morning learning from Kari and Trevor and enjoying a delicious lunch all together, we had the opportunity to participate in a stylized wedding shoot. Kari and Trevor had several vendors willing to help them add as much detail to this session as possible. There was everything from a beautiful rustic backdrop for the couple, a fully set dinner table, and even invitations to include in the detail shots. I loved everything about this session’s style. The colors, the flowers, and all of the unique details; they were all perfect. The vendors who contributed to the workshop are all truly talented.
If you are at all interested in learning more about photography, or want to grow in your current business, I highly recommend attending a workshop. It is the perfect opportunity to meet new friends, develop your passion, and gain hands on experience without any kind of pressure.
