Oh my gosh! I mean...I honestly don't even have words for how excited I am to share my beautiful friend and her growing family with you all! I have known Crystal since elementary school and we have been close friends for years! In middle school we had countless sleepovers with pizza, watching scary movies, and making rice crispy treats then eating them straight out of the pan because we weren't patient enough to cut them into squares! Crystal and I have always been those girls who love theater and movies and music. I mean...seriously we geek out over those kind of things. I'll share an example: a couple years ago when the remake of Carrie came out we hopped in the car and went to see it in the theater. On our hour drive home after the movie all we talked about was the symbolism in the movie. While others were probably comparing it to the original or talking about the scariest moments of the film on THEIR drive home; Crystal and I were deep in conversation about the symbolism of the red and pink dresses Carrie was considering for her high school prom. Yeah we're those girls! HaHa
These days Crystal is a Language Arts teacher in our home town. I can't imagine a more perfect job for her. She absolutely loves it and I know that her student's love her. She is such a natural in her field. Her sweet husband Charlie is a very talented artist with his own studio and store Haskin's House in Portsmouth (our home town area). Between these two...can you imagine the awesome life their son is going to have? I feel like it is almost a guarantee that baby boy Haskins is going to be highly creative! I absolutely cannot wait to see his little personality and interests develop. I had such great time catching up with Crystal and Charlie and felt so blessed to have the chance to photograph one of my oldest and dearest friends during one of the sweetest times in her life. Congratulations Crystal and Charlie! Can't wait to meet your sweet little guy this November!
